City Hall is located at 280 Grove Street, at the intersection of Montgomery Street. It is within walking distance (a decent walking distance) of Clermont Cove. The mayor, city council and city clerk have their offices there as do some city departments. Other departments and agencies are scattered elsewhere in Jersey City.
