The Board constitutes committees to do work on the Board’s behalf. Committee chairs then report their recommendations back to the Board.

Currently active committees are

1. Finance, which assists the treasurer with the annual budget

   The Finance Committee meets one Wednesday per month in the SkyLounge from 6:30pm to ~8:30pm. The goals of the Finance Committee are as follows:

   • Annual Budget preparation and presentation
   • Monthly income statement and balance sheet review
   • Prioritizing what expenses will be closely monitored and
   • Proposing ways to reduce expenses (or increase revenues) with follow on investigation, creation of business plan and presentation of full proposal to the Board for consideration

2. Landscaping, which will design and implement plantings around Clermont Cove. If you are interested, please contact Denise Labowski, the committee chair at landscaping@clermontcove.org.
3. Social, which arranges association social events.

When needed in the past, other committees have included social, light rail, covenants (bylaws) and legal.
